Dear Mr. Jones,
I am enjoying my homestay in Canada, but I have a small problem. My host mother, Mrs. Wilson, makes delicious dinners every night. However, she always gives me too much food. In Japan, we are taught to finish everything on our plate, so I try to eat it all. But it is very difficult because the portions are so big.
I do not want to be rude or make her sad. She is very kind and spends a long time cooking. Should I tell her that I cannot eat so much? I am worried she will think I do not like her food.
Please give me some advice.
