Thank you so much for the birthday present! I was so surprised when I opened the box. The blue scarf is beautiful, and it matches my favorite coat perfectly. I wore it to school today, and many of my friends said it looked great.

I also really enjoyed reading your letter. It made me miss Japan very much. I remember when we went to the summer festival together two years ago. That is one of my best memories.
