Sports Day Memories

Yesterday was our school's annual sports festival. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot. All the students were excited and cheered loudly for their teams. My class had practiced for the relay race for weeks. We all ran as fast as we could, ( 1 ) another class was just a little bit faster. We came in second place. We were disappointed, but we congratulated the winners.

In the afternoon, the whole school performed a traditional dance together. It was colorful and fun to watch everyone moving in sync. ( 2 ), even though we didn't win the big race, it was a wonderful day. I took many photos with my friends.

I am very tired today because I ran so much. My legs hurt. ( 3 ), I am happy because I have great memories of the festival.
