A vertical forest is a tall building covered with hundreds of trees and plants on its balconies. ( 1 ), the famous Bosco Verticale towers in Milan, Italy, hold more than 900 trees and 20,000 other plants. These plants absorb carbon dioxide from the city air and release fresh oxygen for the people to breathe.
