Hi Mike,

I am having a wonderful time in Hawaii with my family. We arrived in Honolulu three days ago. The weather is sunny and hot, but there is a nice breeze from the ocean.

Yesterday, we went to the beach. I tried surfing for the first time. It was very difficult to stand up on the board, and I fell into the water many times. However, it was really fun! My sister, Yumi, did not surf. She just relaxed on the sand and read a book.

Tonight, we are going to a luau. It is a traditional Hawaiian party with music and dancing. I am excited to try the food there.
