Dear Grandma,

I hope you are feeling well. Last weekend, I tried to bake bread for the first time. I used the recipe you gave me. It was a little difficult because I had to wait a long time for the dough to rise.

While I was waiting, I cleaned the kitchen and read a book. When I finally put the bread in the oven, it smelled amazing. The whole house smelled like a bakery!

The bread tasted delicious, but it was a little hard. Maybe I baked it for too long. Next time, I will be more careful. I want to make some for you when I visit next month.
