Orchestra rehearsal notice Friday’s rehearsal will begin at 3:30 in the music room. Wind players should arrive fifteen minutes earlier to help set up chairs. String players do not need to come early. The rehearsal will finish at 5:00, after which everyone should put their instruments away before leaving.

Message from conductor Please practice the second piece at home, especially the quiet section near the end. We will spend most of Friday on that piece because the opening piece is already going well. Bring a pencil to mark any changes on your music. If you cannot attend, tell your section leader by Thursday evening.

Student chat Aya: I play a wind instrument, the flute. I will also bring my pencil. Ben: I play the violin and cannot attend because of a medical appointment. I have just sent my section leader a message. I will ask Aya about any changes afterward.
