Office Memo: Proper Use of Recycling Bins

This is a friendly reminder to all employees about the importance of using our office recycling bins correctly. Clearly labeled bins for Paper, Plastics, and Cans are located in the kitchen area on each floor and in the main copy room.

Please ensure that only appropriate items are placed in these bins. Food waste, coffee cups (unless specifically marked as compostable and placed in the correct compost bin), and general trash should NOT be put into recycling bins as this contaminates the entire batch. Contaminated batches often end up in landfills, defeating our recycling efforts.

Let's all do our part to support the company's sustainability goals. If you are unsure about an item, please check the guide posted above each bin or ask a Green Committee member.
