Greenhill High School Career Day 2025

Are you thinking about your future? Greenhill High School is proud to host our annual Career Day! This event is designed to help students explore potential career paths and connect with professionals.

Date: Friday, November 14th
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: School Gymnasium

We will welcome over 30 professionals from a wide range of fields, including:

• Information Technology (IT)
• Medicine & Healthcare
• Creative Arts & Design
• Business & Finance

Special Events:

• 1:15 PM: Keynote Speech by Ms. Emi Tanaka, a leading robotics engineer and Greenhill alumna.
• 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Resume Writing Workshop (Room 301). Note: This workshop is limited to the first 20 students who sign up at the reception table.

I just saw the poster for the Career Day this Friday. I'm actually really excited about it! Having over 30 professionals come to our gym is pretty amazing. I can't believe Ms. Emi Tanaka, the robotics engineer, is coming. Her speech at 1:15 PM is definitely something I won't miss.

My main goal is to talk to the people from the IT field. I’ve been teaching myself programming, and I want to ask them what subjects I should focus on in my third year if I want to study computer science at university.

I also saw the "Resume Writing Workshop." It sounds useful, but I'm not sure if I should sign up. It says it's limited to 20 students, and I feel like it's probably more important for third-year students who are applying for jobs or university soon. Maybe I'll just focus on the main booths this time. Anyway, really looking forward to Friday!

A recent survey asked 200 Greenhill students (Grades 1-3) which career fields they were most interested in learning about. Students could select up to two fields.
