Eco-Week runs Monday to Friday. Activities include a repair workshop, clothing exchange, and lunch-waste survey to show how daily choices affect the environment.
The exchange is Wednesday in Room 12. Bring clean items; each student may take up to two items, even without donating.
The repair workshop is Tuesday after school. Bring one small broken item and describe the problem. Survey results are posted Friday.
The student council organized the week after noticing that many useful objects were thrown away at the end of each term. Each activity focuses on a different kind of everyday waste, and students can join any event without signing up for the whole week.
The clothing exchange accepts only items that are ready for another person to use, while the repair workshop is intended for small objects that can be examined safely. Teachers will help supervise both events.
Students who cannot attend may read the survey summary on the school website after it is posted on Friday. The council hopes the activities will help students consider practical choices they can continue making later.
