Student Blog Post: My Food Fair Day
Posted by: Sakura_K Date: November 3rd Subject: Full and Happy!
The Global Food Fair on Saturday was a huge success! I helped out at Zone D, the drinks booth, which was great because I got to meet lots of people. I have to say, the European Sweets booth was definitely the best part of the day. The chocolate cake was simply perfect—you absolutely must try it next year!
I went to the mandatory Food Safety Seminar last Friday. It was useful for learning hygiene rules, but honestly, sitting there for 90 minutes felt very long, especially after school.
The atmosphere was amazing, but I think the organizers should make one change for next year. There were not enough places to sit down and eat. Everyone had to stand! Also, maybe adding a small stage for live music could make the waiting in line more fun. The lines for Zone A (Asian Delights) were the longest all day, which proves that Asian food is the most popular choice among our students. I’m already looking forward to next year's event!
